The con artist, as in a postal fraud approach, obtains information from obituary columns in the newspaper. They call on the grieving spouse and convince him/her that the deceased spouse had ordered a very expensive Bible for the other just before the death.

How to avoid:
Don't accept anything if you didn't order it.
