I just got a Ticket….What do I do now?

You may resolve your citation prior to your court date. Below is information on how to resolve your citation prior to the initial court appearance date on your citation. Please allow three business days for the court to process your citation. 

The Windcrest Municipal Court accepts the following forms of payment only, and all payments must be made in person:

Cash, Money Order, Cashier's Check, Credit Card and Debit Card (NO PERSONAL CHECKS)
Money Orders and Cashier's Checks must be made payable to: City of Windcrest

Read the back of your citation carefully for payment instructions.  You can contact the Assistant Court Clerk for any payment questions not answered on the back of your citation or this website by clicking here.

To keep a moving violation from appearing on your driving record, you may be eligible for a Driving Safety Course or Deferred Disposition (click on the appropriate disposition to receive more information). CDL Drivers are not eligible for a Driving Safety Course or Deferred Disposition.


If you choose to reset your court date, then you must do so in person. You are allowed one reset of 30 days free of charge.  For an additional reset, you must post a $100.00 bond (per violation) for the reset to be granted.
