The Windcrest Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) is pleased to announce the implementation of its new Storefront and Streetscape Improvement Program for local business and commercial property owners.  Interested commercial, professional and retail business owners who wish to rehabilitate their storefronts and streetscapes are invited to submit an application for assistance with exterior improvement costs.  The Storefront and Streetscape Improvement Program offers commercial property owners and business tenants up to a 50% matching grant of up to a maximum of $9,999 per building/retail center, on a reimbursement basis only, for the funding of well-designed improvements in enhancing their storefronts and streetscapes.  Projects are reviewed on a competitive basis.  The cumulative amount awarded by the WEDC for the 2012-2013 Fiscal Year will not exceed $60,000.
